Pro40 Cricket

Leicestershire v Worcestershire - Leicestershire win by 4 wickets
Leicestershire won the toss and decided to field
Wor - 214-5
Lei - 217-6

Good scores from all of the top five Worcestershire batsmen helped set a good total off 31 overs after rain earlier. Hughes finshed not out on 57, the top score of the innings, while Buck took 0 for 63 from just 7 overs. In contrast Taylor took 2 for 26, as the pick of the bowlers.
Leicestershire also began well and made it to 109-1 with Sarwan taking the attack to the bowlers. However when fianlly fell for 100 it caused a collapse as the hosts went from 185-3 to 186-6. With the overs running short, it was Taylor who again came to the rescue by smacking two boundaries in 22 from just 10 balls, as Leicestershire made it home off the final ball of the match!

Star Player: Sarwan, for his 100 from 86 balls, easily the stand out innings of the match.
